White Supremists, Black Muslims, and Orthodox Jews all claim to have racial superiority because “God created them that way.” White Supremists teach that the Jewish race resulted from an ilicit relationship between Eve and Satan in the Garden (called the Serpent-seed doctrine), and that the blacks’ skin color was a result of the curse of Noah’s son, Ham. To a white Supremist, the 10 tribes of Israel that were carried into captivity by the Assyrians became the populations of Europe, thus white people today are the “real Jews” and - get this now - Jesus was a blond haired, blue eyed white person! The Scriptures, of course, no where ever support the concept of Eve and Satan having an affair. Not all of the ten tribes of Israel were carried away into captivity, and Jesus was born to a real, dark-skinned Jewish woman named Mary. Jesus was a short, dark-skinned, dark-haired Jewish man!

The Black Muslims believe that the original skin color of all humans were black. These original black groups founded the city of Mecca. Somewhere around sixty-six hundred years ago, a dissatisfied scientist named Mr. Yacub was banished by society for his rebellion and placed upon the Isle of Patmos (the same Island which John later inhabited). Mr. Yacub was so aggarvated at his banishment that he created a race of blond haired, blue eyed devils. These white, blue-eyed devils became the Jewish race of which Moses was the leader. After ruling the world for 6,000 years, the Black Messiah was born. He was a half-black, half-white man named W. D. Fard. Fard was multi-racial, the Black Muslims say, so that he could be accepted by everyone. W.D. Fard miraculously appeared in Detroit in 1931 to Elijah Poole who became known as Elijah Muhammad. Elijah Muhammad began to teach the blacks that they were the one true race created by God and that the black God’s name was Allah.

The Orthodox Jews rejected Jesus Christ as the Messiah, and still claim to be God’s chosen people. Jesus could not have been the Messiah, they say, because He reached out to all races and not to just the Jews. In fact, in the Great Commission, Jesus commanded His disciples to go and preach the Gospel in ALL nations! Because only Orthodox Jews were the original, pure race, and that through persecution all of the Jewish geneologies have been destroyed, faithful Jews must wait until the TRUE Messiah comes, and then He will sort out the various Jews by tribe and restore the twelve tribes of Israel to the superior state that they deserve.

Which of these three stories sounds the craziest to you? Probably the one with which you were the least familiar. If you were raised in a racial white surrounding, attending a “Christian church” then the Black muslim story probably sounded the craziest. If you were raised in a racial black surrounding, then the White Supremist probably sounds the craziest. If you were raised as an Orthodox Jew, then both the White Supremeist and Black Muslim stories sound fanicful. The truth is all three are a lie from the pits of hell!

God created black, white, and Jewish just the same. Just because bad people from all three backgrounds have gotten the headlines does not mean that we should adopt their false lies. Unfortunately, all of us have grown up with some prejudice as to skin color and culture, but we must make sure that our views line up with the Word of God!

Eve and Satan never had a sexual relationship in scripture! If the "eating of the fruit" means that they did have a perverse relationship then Adam did also.

Ham, Shem, and Japeth were the three sons of Noah.

Shem: Some of his descendants went into Asia and became the Oriental skin tone. The other side of his family tree settled in the area now known as the Middle East and Abraham came from this side. Abraham had two sons, Ishmael and Isaac. Ishmael is the father of the Arabs and Isaac is the father of the Jewish people.

Japeth: His descendants moved north and west and became the Gentiles of Europe. These descendants were primarily white-skinned people.

Ham: in Hebrew literally means "Hot or dark colored." His descendants settled into Egypt and then later dispersed throughout Africa. Ham was black so all of his kids were black, and not just Canaan! All four sons were black: Canaan, Cush, Mizraim, and Phut. The original Egyptians were black skinned. After settling in the area of Egypt, the descendants of Canaan went to the Judea area that would eventually be conquered by the Israeli people. The descendants of Cush went to Ethiopa. The descendants of Mizraim remained in Egypt and interbred with the descendants of Shem. This is why Egyptians today are not completely dark skinned colored. The descendants of Phut went down throughout Africa.

The curse on Ham was that he was not blessed. The curse on Canaan was literally fulfilled in his lifetime. It later was completely fulfilled during Joshua's time and the subsequent reign of Israel's judges (Joshua 9:27; Judges 1:28). The Israelites were supposed to completely destroy the Canaanites but did not and so we find that in Solomon's time he also fulfilled the curse of Canaan, but it eventually led to his ruin. The reason for these fulfillments and why Canaan was cursed for Ham's sin is because God visits the effects of sins until the third and fourth generation (Exodus 20:5). The curse is over and was over after the fourth generation of Canaanites. Which leads us to the next myth.

God always uses slavery to punish idolatry. There are hundreds of scriptures and prophecies in the Bible which teach this principle. When the children of Israel went into Egypt through the deceit of Jacob's sons and the story of Joseph, they became slaves for four hundred years, before Moses was sent to deliver them. God told Abraham that this would happen:

The purpose of the ten plagues was to attack the idolatry of the Egyptians. Here is a list of the ten plagues and the corresponding God of the Egyptians.

River turned to Blood = the Egyptians worshipped the river Nile

Frogs = they worshipped frogs

Lice = the Egyptians worshipped the earth, and the dust became lice.

Flies = they worshipped flies

Cattle and animals = they worshipped all animals

Boils = the Egyptians worshipped a God of Fire and Moses was commanded to take ashes from Pharoah's furnace and throw them into the air in front of Pharoah, and the ashes became boils upon men and beast.

Hail with fire = Many gods of the sky and nature were worshipped by the Egyptians

Locusts = the Egyptians worshipped the god of the harvest. The locusts wiped out every harvest in the land.

Darkness for three days = One of the most important Gods was the Sun God Raah.

Death of the Firstborn = the Egyptians worshipped their ruler. God killed every firstborn child and animal in the land including the Pharaoh's son. Which proved that he was a mere mortal like everyone else.

What is the point? If the Egyptians worshipped idols themselves, then God would not hold them exempt from slavery, either!

Remember that the original Egyptians were black. Still not convinced? Notice the following scriptures:

The name "Ham" and the land of Egypt are used interchangeably in scripture! So when we are talking about the early Egyptians, we are talking about the black descendants of Ham. This means at first, the Egyptians worshipped the one, true living God, but eventually turned to idolatry. In fact, 700 years later in 710 B.C. the prophet Isaiah prophesied that slavery would come to the Egyptians. In fact the entire 19th chapter of Isaiah is prophecy of this. We will only hit the highlights:

This came partly true when the Assyrians conquered Egypt for 40 years just enough to destroy the culture. God had destroyed the Egyptian way of life, and then he dispersed them throughout the continent of Africa:

God also used Ezekiel to prophesy that the proud Egyptian culture would become the basest of all peoples meaning that it would become very primitive. As the Egyptians were scattered throughout Africa, they returned to very primitive ways of life. This way of life also included more idolatry, so God once again intervened. Notice the similarity between the following prophecies and the slave trade that began in the New World of the Americas:

As all scriptural prophecy, there was a immediate and a distant prophecy fulfillment. The distant fulfillment was the slave trade that began to carry thousands of Africa to the Americas as slaves. Ezekiel continued with this stunning statement:

The earliest Slave trade began around 1460 and lasted until 1863 when a man named Abraham Lincoln set the slaves free in America. The Israelites had been slaves for 400 years. The slave trade lasted 400 years. The punishment of God is thorough and complete! Just as we would not dream about punishing the Jews because they were once slaves, we should also not ever dream about punishing black-skinned people because they were once slaves. There is no curse from God, God has ended the slavery so that His church can be complete again. The black slavery of earlier America had nothing to do with Canaan or Ham, it had everything to do with the Egyptians worshipping idols!

God has never separated blacks from whites. The only separation factor that God has ever instituted was the dividing of languages at the tower of Babel. A church should logically be separated by native tongue but the color of skin should have nothing to do with it!

Notice the following prominent black people in the Bible:

1. Simon was black.

Cyrene is the present day country of Libya in Africa! As the whole world had deserted Jesus, a black man helped carry His cross. If it had not been for the Jewish man and the Black man who carried that cross that day, you and I would not be able to have eternal life! And you want to be racist?

Simon's son became good friends of the Apostle Paul and Simon's wife was like a second mother to him!

2. Cushi the Ethiopian brought David news of Abasalom's death. (II Samuel 18:31-33) The name Cushi means "black."

3. The prophet Jeremiah was saved from death by an African court official, Ebedmelek. (Jeremiah 38:7-28)

4. The prophet Zephaniah was black.

5. The prophet Amos prophesied great blessings for the Ethiopians. (Amos 9:7) This is literally being fulfilled today with the massive growth of the Apostolic church in Ethiopia.

6. The Ethiopian was baptized by Philip. (Acts 8:27)

7. Two of the Apostolic prophets who commissioned Paul and Barnabas to the ministry were black: Simon that was called Niger (black), and Lucius of Cyrene (Libya). (Acts 13:1-2) Notice that they were not forced to go to their own church simply because of the color of their skin.

The Early Church was a multi-racial church and God took great pains to get it that way!

Nothing could be further from the truth. Racist people are against mixed marriages and have tried to twist the following scripture to fit their attitude:

God is against marriages between a believer and a unbeliever, but God who created blacks, whites, yellow, and all different hues, considers us all the human race and does not care how we mix!

If you are choosing a mate, you better make sure that they are baptized in Jesus' name and filled with the Holy Spirit. {Read text again}

Under the law of Moses God did not allow the mismatching of anything. You could not allow an ox and a donkey to pull together in the same yoke (Deuteronomy 22:10) God had no problem with two oxen pulling together even if one was a black ox and the other was a white ox!

1. Solomon's beloved wife talked about in the Song of Solomon was black!!!

Most preachers teach that the Song of Solomon is a foreshadowing of the love that Jesus Christ would have for His church. If that is so, then the church is represented by a beautiful, black woman!

2. Moses was married to a black woman, and his brother and sister did not like it!

And notice God's response to their decision that Moses should not have married a black woman:

Leprosy is always a type of sin! God considers hatred against another race and even forbidding or disagreeing that a black should not marry another color as being sinful!

We are to love one another as Jesus loved people. Jesus is no respector of persons and color does not matter! So should we love our brothers and sisters who are of a different skin color than we are!
